An Ordinary Day

Between a poet
And a seamstress
They speak of their dreams
Of their illusions
Looking to the warmth
Of Aprils first kiss.

Embroidered flowers
Have no scent
And love is a gypsy
Stars fade, perhaps happy
Is just an act, a foolish bond
An empty wine bottle

And dawn always wins.
