You Should Probably Leave
By Guillermo Bowie
Ruth Luce – the unspoken
It’s the way that your niece
Got the message to you
That I was trying to reach you
Going through New England family relations
Where it all happened so quickly
And though you haven’t mentioned it
She responded as if she knew about me
It was all like being a member of the family
The trying to communicate with you
Someone that your niece had grown up hearing about
Leaving no room for an introduction
Some things that you write in the emails
Lead to the recall of Ruth Luce
Bringing back the context
Waking up these days and that moment of return to consciousness
