About the Artist-Photographer​

Gaby Bedetti is a photographer, writer, and translator living in Lexington, Kentucky, with her spouse and son. She is circulating The Butterfly Tree: Selected Poems of Henri Meschonnic, her co-translation of a French writer who believed in language’s ability to dissolve borders. Her recent work has appeared in Amsterdam Quarterly, North Dakota Quarterly, and Barely South. Like an ukiyo-e painting, her photos invite the viewer to be part of “the floating world.” Her photographs have bee shot with a Canon PowerShot SX130 IS.
