The Mighty Moment
By Samreen Sajeda

And when you again think about

Being little more than a dot of a dot,

Watch out for the ant tugging a crumb

Of sugar on your kitchen counter, wearing

The jewel like a crown on her head.

Unable to pull it towards her, she shoves

It with her shoulder, a tad bit at a time—

The little wrestler is far from giving up—

Determination glowing from this tiny being

As if it were living a lifetime in a moment.
